Do these knuckleheads ever consider that people have enough of being abused by corporations? Bad pay, bad hours, most of your check going to bottom of the barrel expensive health insurance, skeleton crew, being required to take on multiple roles but no increase in pay, etc. |

I for one have about $900 left of my stimulus money. I am just so glad that I can feed a family of 5 with just $20/week, mortgage is only $100, Gas is $0.25/Gallon and my energy costs are WAY down... We also drove cross country visiting famous landmarks for the kids summer vacation, they had a blast playing in the back of the station wagon... |

There are twice as many cars on the road. All stores are packed with people buying two cartloads of shit. All events are packed. In Vegas (Off the strip) I definitely notice places are a lot less busy when normally they would be packed. Costs too much to eat out anymore. Happy hours not so happy or even gone, prices up, tacked on fees, horrible service with the audacity to expect the same generous tips they got when Covid was at its worst. Restaurants should be happy that anyone sits down and pays for a meal out these days. Also, it would be wise for servers to stop spewing the "If you can't afford to eat out, stay home" line of yesteryear. Everywhere has a tip jar here. Took our dog for shots they had a tip jar on the counter, not a donation jar for pets, a tip jar. Tip jars at gas stations. The same gas stations that are robbing people blind and skimming cards. Most service jobs have switch almost entirely to only hiring P/T workers so they do not have to pay benefits and can replace an employee on a whim. So basically, the job does not exist, and people end up bouncing around trying to find jobs that fits their situation best. And professional jobs have switch to contracting position, and in that case much the same too. This is a "labor ready" type market place. |

From 2010 to 2020 we increased in pop , 40,000 to 50,000 people. I think we went up another 40 to 50,000 thousand in last 2 years. |
