WHERE did you get your free puppy? In the streets? At a shelter??

There's TONS of idiots on CL trying to unload dogs & cats and DEMANDING $350 to $500. Yeah, good luck with that. You can't pay anyone to take in a (pre-owned) pet now! We all know about the coming famines!

Nah..they're good for teething puppies.

I currently have one. They lose their milk teeth about 4 months. Provide lots of things to chew or find yourself the target.

When I was bored, I emailed a few and wrote: "OK, I guess I can take your parrot for a month but after that you'll have to come pick it up. And $350 isn't gonna cover food & my inconvenience. I mean these things make a lot of noise!"

Another was selling a puppy for like $500. BTW! They call it a rehoming fee, so I played stupid.

"Well I guess I could use the $500 bucks but I'll need food for the month as well and you'll have to pick him up because they cost too much!"

I got zero replies!

Unpopular opinion here.. but..

The hair/dander, piss/shit, and overall smell must be something primitive, yet desired by some people.

I, myself cannot co-habitat with an animal that does more damage than it brings, small moments of joy.

Dogs are disguting animals. Poo and urine everywhere. They should live in farms and nature only.

Dogs are for people with empathy, mirror neurons, patience and talent.

People that don't like animals are generally pretty depressing and lazy.

Now cats... Eh I love them too but I would more agree because they are far less maintenance.
