Not even many Dutch people know this farmer vs gov thing is pre ww2. I have great grandparents who were farmers already fighting the gov that was before the nazi’s even..

Update from cousins in Zwolle.
9 cities have their food distribution centers blockaded, nothing in or out.
The border with Germany was blocked with silage bales. Nothing coming in or out.

The ports are being blockaded with fishing vessels, they have their booms out and are trailing back and forth to prevent any shipping in or out. Apparently the fishermen are not being allowed enough fuel to get the job done. Government has been restricting fuel allocations so tge fisheries are standing with the farmers.

Associated businesses are also joining in the protests, because they understand that WHEN the farmers fail they fail.

Grocery stores are currently running OUT of food already. The farmers are making the point that the government is failing everyone, so the people must hurt to wake up to the issues.

The agriculture minister had her house surrounded by manure that was dumped all around it. Family live nearby. She cannot leave her home without walking in shit.

The Netherlands is in trouble no matter what. Either the farmers win and the government folds, or the government will crush the farmers, and the Dutch will still lose.
Prepare for what ever emergency to take full chaotic control, reminiscent of the weirmacht of the 1940s.
Coming to a country near you I suspect.
