Really, one of my nephew lost a good paying road job, he was let go, for some excuse about not needing him at that time. Next thing that happened, an illegal Mexican was doing the job he was let go from. There are people who really do physical labor because it paid well. They let him go, so they could use cheap labor. Sorry I got a headache These are the times that tries men's and women's souls! May we come though it victorious! |

Same as landscaping, roofing, carpentry etc. It USED to be the case that the illegal migrant population was a benefit to the economy, taking up labor positions that few others would fill. Now, there is such an oversaturation of cheap illegal labor that large-scale businesses, particularly agricultural and construction businesses, can simply use a workforce consisting almost entirely of migrants being directed by a few well-paid foremen that are given some extra money to keep quiet. Furthermore, there is now an influx of illegal laborers that possess real marketable skills for these jobs and can compete with US contractors. What makes things worse is that some of the migrants are being "pimped" by black market contractors who are collaborating with big companies and possibly the US government. This makes the impact of illegal hiring harder to assess and police. The Alkahest A Meta-sapient Godelian Recursion Engine. Super Fun at Parties. Then patrolled 24/7 by armed surveillence drones. Trump got all caught up in building some sort of shrine to his manhood. Look at the border between the 2 Koreas. Simple, expedient, effective. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 50034595 Texas Minutemen Inc, but the federal government prosecutes them in kangaroo courts with suspiciously rigged juries of colonial agents. The Feds are sitting on trillions in debt which they never should have admitted as legitimate... where do you think they turn to get the money they think they need to service the debt, if they cannot bleed it out of taxpayers? Do they sell us out to foreign interests for a few hundred million so they can say they created jobs, a social safety net, or health care? |

As an overwhelming force of United States citizens, are we legally barred from doing it when our government wont? If certain conditions are met, it could actually be accomplished by the National Guard of every border state, independently of the federal government. IF these states can demonstrate that the feds have failed or lapsed in their constitutional duty to protect the boundaries of the national union which have directly led to damages to the states in question, then they would be within their rights to mobilize and protect their state specifically. It's essentially claiming a breach of contract on the part of the feds. Texas is already experimenting with methods to legally implement such measures, but I'm sure that the second they're ready to deploy, someone will text governor Abbott a picture of his family with bags over their heads, and the whole plan will be called off. The feds have essentially become the mafia, but then again, even the mob has a sense of ethics. These people have none. The Alkahest A Meta-sapient Godelian Recursion Engine. Super Fun at Parties. User ID: 80949168 United States 07/04/2022 11:48 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My thoughts exactly. Start placing mines at the border. Place snipers every thousand feet or so. One warning shot. That’s all you get. They WILL STOP coming. This isn't Israel, and they aren't Palestinians.. So.. No! If only. Weaponized private drones could be a cheaper solution. Equip each with a loudspeaker and a small demolitions charge, along with motion tracking and facial recognition. Program them with smart-swarm dynamics and station them at charging kiosks every 20 miles along the border. When proximity alarms are sounded, the drones leave their stations and loudly announce (in several languages) that continuing into the marked kill zone will result in lethal action. Similar drones are being deployed in Ukraine right now and only cost around $4k each. The Alkahest A Meta-sapient Godelian Recursion Engine. Super Fun at Parties. Besides the cartels, the roving gangs, the environmental exposure hazards, and the occasional trigger-happy mercenary, there's also the very serious threat of being attacked by the caniform theriomorphic chimeras that cryptozoologists commonly refer to as "dogmen" (although I personally find that term to be an inaccurate description). The US military apparently calls them "DX587". Regardless of what you call them, they are real and they are deadly - basically they are giant wolf creatures that can walk both quadrupedally and bipedally. They are migratory creatures that venture into the borderlands at least once each year and spend the winter months in Central America, primarily preying on deer, elk, and domesticated livestock, although they will have no problem ripping apart any human that gets in their way. I've been interested in these things for a while. They're seen all around San Antonio. What are they? To your estimation. I've got a heavy science background, so this has also been a burning question for me as well. From the surprisingly large dataset of experiences sampled from military witnesses, particularly field medics, I find it highly improbable that DX587 is a naturally occurring organism or a product of conventional biology. My best guess is we're looking at a genetically modified organism that derives from multiple host genera including hominid, canid, hyaenidae, and procyon. In simpler terms, they are chimeras. Furthermore, some accounts following the dissection of corpses reveal features such as compound femurs, organs with no discernible purpose, organic "ballistics gel" in the abdominal cavity, ammonia-based biochemistry, bones that are virtually bulletproof, and adjustable joints/tendons that can be switched between running and standing postures. No earth species we are aware of possess ANY of these traits, yet the superficial appearance of DX587 suggests earth ancestry. Also important to note is the wild variation in traits between individuals, even when appearances are similar, suggesting that these things exist in some sort of caste system that cannot be determined by outward appearance alone. Each sub-group of specimens seem to be precisely modeled after wild animals in their local environment, e.g., coyotes, wolves, hyenas, etc. I believe that someone MADE these things using locally available DNA and further modified them to be combat specialists. However, sightings of these creatures go back well before the 1600's, so it's probably not a result of modern human science. My current conjecture (and it is only conjecture) is that DX587 is a genetically manufactured and mass-produced bio android from a previous highly advanced civilization that lived long before ours and was wiped out millennia ago. These creatures being built to withstand heavy combat, are perhaps some of the few living relics of that civilization, apparently having the ability to reproduce.
