Re: What is the most bizarre experience you've had in public?
I don't normally share this, very few know and it's something I'll never forget as long as I live.

It was night, St Patrick's Day 1992 at The Old Shillelagh in Detroit. I was just home from the Army, in a great deal of pain and still needing to use a walker due to my injuries, but I decided to go with my buds for a cpl hours.

I was walking into the beer tent outside the pub, had to watch my feet a lot bc I had just learned to walk again, I happened to look up and there was this group of people walking towards me, all of them looking me in the eyes and smiling. There was nine of them, all races, all dressed in white and shades of grey and all with the most piercing blues eyes you've ever seen.

The one they all seemed to be following was a black man with dreads and had the warmest smile I think I've ever seen in my life to this day. The truly bizarre part of it was as a group they all seemed to have this vibrant white glow around them, on my life the first thing I thought was, "What the fuck, are these Angels!?" It was more a statement to myself than a question.

They all walked directly up to me, staring and smiling, not in an uncomfortable way, but more admiration. The one they seemed to follow, the black man, walked directly in my path, looked me square in the eyes and asked, "You're a warrior, aren't you?", without thinking I responded, "Yeah, yes I am". Their smiles all seemed to get brighter, even the glow increased, he nodded at me, said, "I know" as he put his hand on my shoulder, then they all walked away.

The whole thing lasted maybe 15 seconds, but it changed the course of my life forever. No matter what you call them, angels, aliens, interdimensional beings, EBE's, whatever, WE ARE NOT ALONE.

This was only one of many experiences I've had, but definitely the most memorable and I've wished all my life to have that moment back, to ask questions, to know just what the fuck, lol.

That is a wonderful story. I saw a similar angel in a liquor store once. I knew when I saw him he was an angel in person. He knew I could tell he was one.

Celebrating Fourth of July with all the fireworks a friend and I could fit into two taxis. We lit them off at a hotel front parking lot on the evening of July 4th, 1987 in Kunming, (communist) China. The display took 45 minutes after the first firing.

Afterwards as the smoke cleared, all the foreign guests of the 8 story hotel sang together from their windows either 'God Bless America' or 'God save the Queen'.

When the singing finished, We heard a huge roar. I looked out past the parking lot fence an there were at least a couple of thousand people cheering, having gathered during the show. I walked closer to the fence and they started throwing hundreds of cigarettes at us.*

We took a bow, and the roar even increased.

One of the top 10 most surreal times in my life.

*(At the time, the Chinese government actively encouraged smoking, as it was revenue stream and most smoked. Since the people had very little, throwing a cigarette was a sign of respect, much as we do with throwing flowers here.)

There's always an Arquillian Battle Cruiser, or a Corillian Death Ray, or an intergalactic plague that is about to wipe out all life on this miserable little planet, and the only way these people can get on with their happy lives is that they DO NOT KNOW ABOUT IT!

It wasn't a store, it's one of the oldest pubs in Detroit, and none of them had a drink in their hands, it seemed like they were just walking through. I got the sense they were on their way out and that they weren't there for me, just happenstance that I wandered up on whatever their mission was. I have no clue what they were, all I know is that they were NOT normal humans and they seemed surprised and happy to find me,

I dunno, maybe they just love the Old Sheleighly. 1dunno1

1990ish

2 cars driving down to the holiday house 2am

1st car me and a mate

2nd car two other mates

We drive through a very small town and I kid you not as we are driving what looks like a ghost Chinese fisherman on a bike you'd see in ancient China LUMINATED in this green/white light in front of us - basically speeds up turns a sharp right and zoooms off.

We both looked at each other and freaked out.

When we arrived at our destination 10 minutes later with the other car at the same time, one of them jumps out instantly and runs to our car shouting :"WTF WAS THAT - DID YOU SEE IT??"

Kinda reminded me of the ghost in Ghostbusters now i think about it, but yeah we all saw the same thing.

Oh, in addition to my post above on the NDE and psychic... after showing up at the hospital for a check up, my primary doctor was out and the only one available in town for this type of injury was at the hospital I was initially sent to via the ambulance...

Me and my sig other walk through the doors, Im looking at the sign to see which floor the dr is on... two paramedics come up to me, the one runs up to me, and both are white as ghosts... the one says I was in the back giving you medical and you DIED. The other was the driver and he said he called it in... I was like WTF is going on...

My sig other was like WTF.... dude ever since then life has been weird...

I was nine years old my family was visiting New Orleans. Our family friends took their kids and my siblings and I to the Rocky Horror picture show.

I swear I could feel the evil. As we approached the ticket window some girl drugged up stubbled around and fell down. I had no experience with something like that and kept asking the family friends if we should help her. It only got sketcher from there.

Hello I was nine.

Left a bar with a couple friends pretty lit up and we passed a truck parked next to our car and there was a couple inside having sex. There were other people standing around the cab looking inside so everyone had to take a look.

And the weird thing was they kept doing it. Like they wanted everyone to be watching. I didn't understand how they could do it in the cab of a pickup truck and why they didn't car at least 10 people were staring at them?

I was at Meijer finishing up my shopping. I was walking down the center aisle toward the registers. Up ahead an older man was standing in the middle aisle, his back against the display, facing the produce. I looked at him as I walked toward him. He turned his head to look at me and his eyes were solid black. The most horrible feeling of dread just instantly filled me. Then panic. I turned my cart and took off running down the asile behind the greeting cards. Never seen anything like that before or since, nor felt that feeling of dread.

I had a woman from California try to run me over as I sat on a bench on the sidewalk. Then she got out and yelled that I was raping her while taking pictures of my crotch area. She walked away from her car and I and others called the police.

They found her and she told them she came from California to Missouri to kill me because I had an app on my phone that was controlling the chip in her brain.

Pre-game: we are drinking beers in the tiered parking lot. A crack whore comes up to us, all friendly and sociable. We offered her a beer, small talk, she left, we went to game.

Post game: Stuck on the 5th tier of parking lot for what seemed like forever waiting to get out. She shows up again and says if you guys make a left over there you can drive straight out. Was out of the parking building in less than a minute.

Wade Boggs was in my first grade class. Maybe part of my second. I know we moved that year. Shout out to Wade and the class of Arco Elementary!

What was the angel buying in a liquor store besides booze?? Do angels get drunk?

It wasn't a store, it's one of the oldest pubs in Detroit, and none of them had a drink in their hands, it seemed like they were just walking through. I got the sense they were on their way out and that they weren't there for me, just happenstance that I wandered up on whatever their mission was. I have no clue what they were, all I know is that they were NOT normal humans and they seemed surprised and happy to find me,

I dunno, maybe they just love the Old Sheleighly. 1dunno1

If you were tryin to be a cocky fuck you might wanna grab your sidearm, I'm not anywhere near a lightweight.

Re: What is the most bizarre experience you've had in public?
I was riding up on the escalator in the Seoul subway when the power went out. I was stuck on that damn thing for two hours. When the power came back on, I was startled by the sudden restart and lost my balance. As I fell, I began to tumble. I fell down the stairs for an hour. You know that sound a dial-up computer makes when it connects? I heard that sound for an hour.
