It is true. I've found them still in the wrapper a year later and no mold, no bugs, nothing. Looked exactly the same as the day I bought em.

Now realize you are putting whatever that is into your body when you eat them. Bacteria, mold, bugs either won't touch it die instantly when thy do. That should tell you something.
