You should read this book: Pagan Christianity by Frank Viola. Genuine Churches or Bodies of Christ meet in homes, garages, wherever because a 'Church' is not a building with a pastor, choir, all that it's God's People, the place where God dwells - His Holy Spirit.

You know all those passages about your body being a Temple of the Holy Spirit? That's exactly correct and it's literal not metaphoric.

All those building churches out there want you to think the work of the Holy Spirit is metaphorical, not literal.

The only church I've ever heard about that is close to the Biblical pattern are the Brethren. You might be able to find one of their meetings close by if you're lucky

Join up with the Salvation Army or a similar organization in your area that helps people. That’s the best kind of new church. More action, less preaching.

I figure there are three forms of communication with God.

1. The Word. (JC). That is what the new testament is. You can read what he said and did. Paul is always the issue, there though. All those epistles he wrote...

But there is nothing wrong with someone sitting down and reading the bible to learn something. (hardly anybody does it).

righteousness and passion will fill your soul.

2. Creation. (The Father). Go out on a hillside and look at a lake or some clouds. Look at those stars at night. Look at all the lonely people scurrying about.

Don't Judge. Just wonder. Empathy will fill your soul.

3. Experiential. (The Holy Spirit). This is where you could use a community. Like minded people. Letting God fill all your hearts and showing you the truth of the spirit.


Who the hell needs some smarmy self-righteous *-hole, or some empty ritualistic crap and pretty words.

As speaking in the tone of producing
Happiness & Well-being is more aligned with
"self actulazation in spirit and mind.
Religion.....
Moral character:
Will, volition, choice, intention or moral choice.
Look inward for your answers.
External forces will only mislead.
It should be inherent in all of us,
or to all of us, that our presence can and will make a difference.
Make good choices, do the right thing,
You action come back in abundance.
And I I honor Religion to any and all
That receive wholeness in return.
