Monterrey Mexico almost out of water. City of McAllen, TX and HEB grocery store has a water drive ongoing now to send water to Monterrey

When countries need help, america is always asked and sends help, whether its billions of dollars and bombs in ukraine (which is ridiculous) or water to mexico

But when it gets bad here and we already exhausted resources for other countries, who the fuck lifts a finger to help us?

I heard Monterrey has water from 4-10am but not every day. Some areas have not had water for a week.

It's true. America has always been the rescuer after disasters, but pretty soon, we're going to be tapped out.

Well here is one for the books.

Today I went to my HEB to get distilled water.

I use about 8 gallons a week....even the dog drinks it. I make coffee with it and drink it and the hummingbirds need it for their juice. It is normal for my consumption.

I went to the water area spied the distilled water and proceeded to load up the 8 gallons into my cart. I had a couple of other items too.

I proceeded to go to check out....when management came over to my cart and said I could only have two gallons and there was a sign up back there.

Well, honestly I didn't see any sign. I wasn't clued in to look for a sign. All I saw was the water I went after.

To make a long story short. The limit for gallon jugs was two. So management removed 6 gallons out of my cart.

I won't tell you how I really felt. That really happened today around noon/1 p.m. ish.

I lived in the RGV for 14 years and still have some family down there. From April to October it's hot as balls with high temps in the mid 90's at least and the lows in the upper 70's. There is always a breeze from the Gulf, but it's like a hair dryer. The closer to the Gulf ( Weslaco to SPI ) you'll get a chance at a sea breeze shower. The only rain we got in our elongated summer was from tropical waves that come though.

Yes....but now its just hotter with high temps in the 100's


There are only two seasons here.....

summer, summer, summer and fall.

and summer is the time when hot water comes out of both faucets.

Bring them to the US. Lots of water and bent over white people to punk out!!

I'm here in Monterrey, I went today to supermarkets and there are plenty of bottles f water, the problem is cuts of water supply in several areas of the city, mostly poor and new neighborhoods. San Pedro zone - The "Dallas" of Monterrey- have water service most of the day. Thanks for sending water bottles from Texas though

Running Water has been available only 12 hours a day.
Plenty of bottle water now, there was some shortage 2 weeks ago.
