How can we know the Way to Father as Jesus taught, unless we know who he was, what he taught, what he demonstrated. To follow his way, means not just to hear the words with our ears, but take them in, into our heart. KNOW HIM. Intimately. Not what his disciples said, but what HE said.

Just to let you know, I have been born again according to Christian doctrine.

So let's take a look at just who this man was/is. His teachings were very deep and esoteric. Not even his disciples could understand the meanings of his parables most of the time, he had to take them aside to explain. To the rest of the crowds, they had not interest in understanding but just poo-poo'd what he said and got angry.

Why?

The hebrews teach that there are four levels of understanding scripture, i would say there are more than 4. But that's a whole nother topic in and of itself. It all has to do with levels of consciousness. This is where it all gets trippy for you guys, and becoz you don't understand, you dismiss it as paganism, hinduism, even satanism. Yet, you don't realize you're damning the very one you claim as Saviour.

Take for instance Jesus fasting in the desert for 40 days and 40 nights. Was that for fun? What was the purpose? I'm not going to to tell you, you need to explore that on your own, but I will tell you, that this practice takes one inward in a way never before experienced and leads one to roads of spiritual knowledge unattainable before.

So, is that an example for us to follow? I would tend to believe so.

Let's take some of his teachings.......

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 NIV

When Jesus said this, he as not referring to his death as a sacrifice for humanity.... not in the way christians teach and believe. He was saying exactly what he said: no one can come to the father except through the way that he showed us.

So what was his way?

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:37-40 NIV

45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

12 For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.
12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.


* Note: you see he did not refer to the priests or scribes ... but he did warn about false apostles who say they are, but aren't.

The prophets were killed for speaking the truth..... no others.

I've read through carefully 3X to be sure of my understanding.


[TO ME] It appears that you follow Jesus' 2 Commandments in order to be declared Just and Righteous before God.
Jesus taught under the Law, therefore Law was preached.

If at any point in your life you transgress the Law, Jesus said to bring your sacrifice to the Temple for atonement.
That was 'The Way' that Jesus taught.

Have you brought your sacrifice to the Temple for your sins?

Have you fasted without food or water for 40 days yet?

Have you followed Jesus walking out onto the waters of the sea?

Have you calmed a violent Thunderstorm?

Seems Jesus' Way is a hard, legal road .... obedience to Laws or else.


I have some Good News for you!

We are now under a New Covenant (New Testament).
The Old Testament has passed away.

This New Covenant is based upon the favor of God through His Grace and Mercy in Christ.

We enter into this New Covenant not by works of the Law, but by Faith in Jesus.

As it is said, 'Christ is become of no effect to you, whosoever of you seek justification through the Law.
The Just shall live by Faith'

Indeed, it is Good News to which Jesus and the Prophets testify for no one is justified by Law in the sight of God'.

I pray that you will investigate this New Covenant of which Jesus and the Prophets speak.

Your life will change and be richer and fuller than you could ever imagine.
