I’m thankful that I get to go on a week long road trip on a Harley. It’s the little freedoms I still try and hold on to because there’s no guarantee by God or Country to still have that freedom another day.

I will still celebrate this great country we have...It may be a mess now, but as this holiday celebrates our freedom and escape from tyranny, it shows that we will rise up and do it again if needed...We are down, but we are not out for the count...America will be great again, give her time!

I'm celebrating a national holiday with my kids and letting them enjoy the day like we normally would. Probably will shoot off the leftover mortars from last year....

I can Adult and deal with Adult issues starting again on July 5th. There's ZERO reason we should take away great memories from our children, especially while we can still make them.

I am going to celebrate my 92nd birthday, its actually a week ago but we always celebrate it on July 4 because its easier to get more people together, besides the local fireworks are awesome.

Whatever country we knew back in the 20th century has cease to exist now for 2 decades, and we're reminded of that fact with each passing year.

July 4 2022 is on a Monday.

I plan on celebrating as usual:

wake up early to get the smoker ready and prep some ribs while drinking beer

fix a nice breakfast and drink a beer

feed critters and drink a beer

put ribs on the smoker, get a beer, and jump in the pool

shoot a few bottle rockets at my neighbors house until they come over, get in the pool, and drink beer with me

check the ribs, pee, get another beer

a few hours later, eat ribs and drink beer with the neighbors and friends, shoot off some fireworks, pee

pee

head to the waterfront where the city is hosting the symphony led patriotic music and fireworks display, get a corndog from the food truck, and a beer from the beer truck

head back to the house and light off a 10,000 roll of firecrackers while drinking beer

feel good about this small part of America

Still the free-est country on earth. Can buy a weapon, travel anywhere in the states without papers, live your life the way you want. Don't like it? Move to some shithole socialist country.
