I took plant nutrition class in college which as absolutely no joke and trying to reduce nitrogen emission is ridiculously retarded. 78% of air is nitrogen. I swear Idiocracy is here when it comes to government being run by idiots.

Synthetic free isn't what you think it is. Try taking horticultural classes. Not that easy espically on large scale farming when you have to deal with all kinds of things. Let's start with basic stuff... if you own a house, take soil test for your grass and start from there. You would have to learn a lot of shit just for your little plot of land.... and convert that to many acres just to crop crops... the soil needs enough certain minerals for the crops to do well and it is enormous amount of shit to balance everything out for such large crop farming. They would NEVER waste money on putting out excess supplemental minerals into the soil to maximize the output of crop production because there is a Liebig's Law of the Minimum...
