I'm working remotely with a fella on some system customizations who's 70, who was recently brought on to a medium tech company, and I'm blown away by both his knowledge, ambition, communication ability and grace. I would've never guessed on my own that he was 70. Edit to add: You use the word "compete" when comparing to peers. There-in lies a huge problem. Those are signs of strong mental capacity. Biden is surely the opposite. I'm not saying I want trump back, but he is an example well performing mental faculties in an older person. So yes, someone can argue. Age is a number. How well you get along at the higher numbers is determined by what you do in the lower numbers. Last Edited by 52YearOldVirgin on 06/28/2022 02:30 PM |

Leaving wealth? Who's doing that? Last I checked, they already sold their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren down the creek and plan to bury themselves in stacks of worthless paper when they die. By and large, the opinion of that generation is that the younger ones need to "pull themselves up by their bootstraps" and "make their own fortune." |
