With inflation, the high cost of housing, the need for both husband and wife to work, and a very uncertain future for children, who in the industrialized world would want to have children? The VAXX has nothing to do with it.
Quoting: dogman17 I agree. A one time blackout in good times, was a chance for some hanky panky. Covid was 2 years of lockdowns, restrictions, and stress, depression, and economic hardship. Add in all the politics, and uncertainty in the world, I don’t find it odd that rates have plummeted...who would want to raise a child in uncertain times, with jobs and future not looking bright? People I know that wanted kids...had kids, vaccines and all, so I don’t think it’s an inability to have kids, but desire to do so.
