On one hand, accusing the supreme court of attacking fundamental rights, on the other, actually attacking fundamental rights. Talk about hypocrisy.

1) Extra funding for states that enact red flag laws = forcing states that don't adopt red flag laws to pay states that do to violate constitutional rights. It will be overturned or it will start a war. No other outcome there. I personally believe it will be overturned.

2) Enhances background checks for gun buyers under 21-years-old. It's attacking a fundamental right not using the least restrictive means. Furthermore, it doesn't serve a substantial government interest since 18 year olds can enter the military. It will be overturned.

3) And close a loophole that allowed convicted domestic abusers to still have access to guns if they were unmarried and have no children. This will likely be upheld. And it's sad because many men are wrongfully convicted of this.

4) It also adds extra penalties to some gun-related crimes and provides funding for various mental health services. Both of these will be upheld.

That's how it will turn out a year or so from now once the lawsuits reach the federal courts. Meanwhile, it will substantially slow down the flow of arms to citizens. They are probably worried about an armed insurrection. Silly, because if it were going to happen, it would have already.

We're all just keeping calm and waiting for the crazy to stop. But if number 1 should go the wrong way, I'm taking my family and getting the hell out before the violence begins.
