I tested it, don't get it.
GOT:
Blocking tracking ads? Yes
Blocking invisible trackers? Yes
Protecting you from fingerprinting? Your browser has a unique fingerprint
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 82743845 your browser sends a set of information which is not unique in itself but combined with IP range or location can identify you to a certain confidence level. GLP uses browser fingerprints in its IP bans. Quite often a different browser will circumvent an existing ban. . There is no indication that GLP utilizes fingerprinting. If they did, it would be apparent. They just block ips. nope. i've circumvented bans with a different browser ONLY. they instituted it three or four years ago because they're banning too many IPs to stay in business. .
