It serves as a heat pump to 1/5 of the usa. Yea though I walk thru the valley of gross inability to recognize the absurd ..lies...propaganda and dark shits... I will fear it all NOT.. for THOU ART WITH ME. AND JESUS SAID ON THE CROSS.. FORGIVE THEM FATHER.. THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 82216744 Lol, no. Have you not seen all of the washed out roada? I wouldn't be surprised if their was an uptick in earthquakes in the area, though, as a rapid injection of water into earth fissures can trigger movement. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 78693856 United States 06/18/2022 11:52 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | No one knows for sure. Any volcano is just a really complex system that's very unpredictable. Humans don't have technology to gauge pressure and breaking points and a thousand other factors. But what we do know is it is well within the timeline for the next eruption. The caldera is uplifting and tilting at a really quick rate over these years. Magma is pushing upwards on it. Gases are increases on the surface, trees are mass dying and carbonizing from the roots upwards too. None of this bodes well. The volcano is very active and alive. The timeline for an eruption could still be tomorrow or in 100,000 years. It could be at a critical point already or still have more time to go, we don't know. However, I wouldn't put it past the government to try to speed things up and bury explosives around the entire caldera. It's a possibility. Yellowstone is one of the most censored places on the planet. I wouldn't think the public has access to even 10% of the real data of what's going on over there. The rain could just be a freak innocent event, but such a convenience of shutting down the entire park for who knows how long I would be wary that they either know or are doing something over there. Don't freak out, it's not necessarily going to erupt soon, but it is a location to always be aware of. |

The Yellowstone supervolcano is one of our planet's restless giants. [link to www.nps.gov (secure)] |
