We were warned of this years ago, under Obama.

Then, it was said, that if Diesel ever went about $6/gallon, that truckers would stop trucking and the system would collapse.

That is where we are now.

Do you think we'll all make it to July 4th, or even Labor Day (Sept 5th), or are we totally fuked? If not, then do we make it to Christmas and if so, what do you think the peak/highest price for gas we'll see as a national average (factoring out California of course).

i'm in brooklyn, NY, and so far no change in deliveries. shelves fully stocked, trucks unloading all around and everyone oblivious to gas/food prices.

i expect things to get worse, but so far they haven't.

Give it some time. This shit show is just now starting to effect distribution and the consumer. People are putting everything on credit cards, the markets are going to shit, gas and food prices continue to rise. This can't keep going like this without something giving. I'm betting at least diesel will be $10/gal by the end of this year.

I don't think the 4th of July is even close to possible for us to make it to before we're fully tits up.

Frankly I'll be surprised if things are still limping along like they are now by the weekend after next.

The boots on the ground reports and some things I've personally seen are telling me that we're at best one or two what seem like fairly minor incidents from the cascading failure starting in earnest.

The fact that even pretty normie YouTube channels have been putting out warnings since last week says that this thing is almost on top of us.

dont they need trucks to deliver fuel to the stations? so if the trucks cant run they cant deliver the fuel which means them stations will never have fuel again!! game over man!

I'm a fuel driver, about an hour north of Philadelphia, PA. No problems with gas or on road diesel. Heating oil/ off road diesel did run out at all 4 terminals I use last week. One terminal opened last Friday. One has been out two months, finally open this week. Other two June 23.

My son lives there and he also is not seeing any big changes so far. I go there often and it's like stepping out of doom world into normal world.
It will eventually touch everyone.
