For a heated pool, a minimum of a 500-gallon tank. Depends on what Obama is using to heat his home. Electric, number 2 fuel oil, etc? 2,500 gallon propane tank seems like overkill. Most likely he has a large generator with an automatic transfer switch. Appears he is prepared for something. Would not want to pay to fill that tank! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 81036913 I’m not buying it. These people aren’t “like us.” If a disaster is imminent or threatening, they just get on theirs or a friend’s private jet and fly away from the danger. Their lives are not like “ours.” It’s not like they all gather around the dining table at six and have dinner and then watch the 6:00 news in their living room. Before we even know calamity is coming they’ll be bugged out to a bunker somewhere across the globe. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 76811228 United States 07/30/2022 07:58 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 30 days using a generator Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80343513 For example, according to Generac a 22 kilowatt generator would burn approximately 2.1 gallons per hour at ½ load and 3.6 gph at full load, while a larger 38 kilowatt unit would burn 3 gallons per hour at ½ load and 5.4 gph at full load. A Diesel engine is more efficient than that. Rule of thumb: 1hp per 1kw input power required to run diesel generators. 2nd rule of thumb: a Diesel engine (especially a new one) regardless of brand will use approx 1 gallon per hour per 20 hp load. So if a 22kw genset was running at a full load it should consume about 1.2 gallons of diesel per hour. If I'm calculating correctly, the 2500 gal propane tank would last only 50 days at 1/2 load (22kw generator is huge, most normal people could get by with 10kw) |

Trump didn't accept salary, but to make up for it he gouged the military to the tune of 10s or 100s of millions. Then there's the fact he employed his whole family in the white house with positions they were woefully unqualified for, along with accepting 2 billion from the middle east. You are also aware Obama has been extremely prolific since leaving office, writing books and such? |
