Home prices in my area started seeing significant drops in prices over the past 4-5 weeks (a lot of 7%-14% price drops).

Future interest rate hikes by the Fed will cause prices to drop even more (20%-30% less than prices are now IMO).

Every single time in history that there's been runaway inflation, the Fed has raised interest rates.

That's their MO, and they've already said there will be AT LEAST 3 more rate hikes before the end of 2022.

Think about what they've done -

1) Lowered interest rates and encouraged over-indebtedness
2) Created a supply crisis because of Covid and Ukraine
3) Have told you the central banks will have to raise rates to deal with inflation skyrocketing.

...but think... Raising interest rates only helps squash people borrowing money that fuels asset prices. This isn't the situation at hand, the inflation is caused by scarcity, not too much money sloshing around the system. This is a sleight of hand. You could raise interest rates to 200% and that won't fix a supply issue. No one takes on debt to pay for fuel for their cars or food for their tables.... Do they?

All this will do is further squeeze us and likely bankrupt some/most... rising interest rates are the final part of their trap to make people dependent on the state for income/food.
