if you watched the video carefully the perp had 2 accomplices and that is who the cop was looking for/aiming at, he went outside to make sure they were gone.
Also criminals in Brazil target cops. Strict gun control laws means no armed citizens and thus the cops only ones able to stop the street gangs/ armed robbers. The robbers are notorious for shooting anyone and everyone, with out hesitation.

We live (physical reality) in a duality. There is an opposite of everything. Our scientists say physical reality was created from during the, “Big Bang”. What was before? Non-physical reality aka spiritual realms (broadly speaking). Physical reality is a creation stemming from non physical reality.

Besides the thought exercise the best way to know something is to experience something. Clearly you have also not explored the, “inner realms” and had direct experience in the spiritual side of reality.

Just because you don’t know something, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Look around our world. Do you honestly we are taught the truth about anything? Our world is full of people in power who lie, cheat, and steel, with the goal of ALWAYS being on top. The saying, “knowledge is power” is so very true. That’s why we (humanity) are not given True knowledge freely. What we are given freely are lies wrapped up in indoctrination techniques.

It honestly baffles my mind how many posters on a site such as this still struggle to comprehend how deep the trail of lies go. Here’s a hint. Everything you know is a lie. Is that a 100% accurate statement? I’ll tell you this, the more one learns while seeking Truth, the more accurate that statement is.

What you have to understand about the Big Bang is that there was no "before" the Big Bang. It's not an easy concept to grasp. But all of space AND time were literally created through the Big Bang.

To understand what happened "before" the Big Bang, we need a unified theory of the behavior of gravity at the quantum level. General relativity (Einstein) predicts a singularity "before" the Big Bang, which likely isn't a real thing but only a mathematical breakdown of the equation whereby mass can become infinitely dense and hot. What happens when gravity is so strong it crushes everything to basically the size of a subatomic particle and smaller is what physics is still attempting to understand. Hence, why we have only "theoretical" physics in this realm and no concrete, experimentally verified findings (aside from some neat things like confirming the existence of supersymmetric particles, the Higgs boson, etc.).

There was no before in physical realm, which included time. Think of it like this: imagine being a character in a video game a live nearly realistic game. The was the point at which the game came into existence (Big Bang), but prior to the existence of the game and that whole reality, there existed the reality from which the game was created.

When I mention spiritual (non physical) existence being before the Big Bang, this is what I’m referring to. The place from which the Big Bang was conceived and created.

The thing about all of physical realities math and science, is it’s based on physical reality aka a creation. It can only explain physical reality both the micro and macro (it can only help to explain the creation). But it can’t explain the non physical. Just like all the tools in a video game can’t be used to explain the world/realty outside of the game.

Like I said in my previous comment, the only way to know the spiritual is to go there and experience it. Have you tried exploring the inner realms? Do you have experiences there? It’s quite fascinating what can be experienced in such places.

Indeed. I have often wondered if there is some kind of metaphysical plane of existence not observable in the physical universe. I don't know and may never make up on my mind on that. Although I do consider myself to be deeply spiritual and have derived most of my spiritual life through yoga, transcendental meditation and various Buddhist, Taoist and Vedic traditions.

Safety on/off is a personal choice but ALWAYS keep a round in the chamber when carrying - nothing more obvious, louder and precious time-wasting than having to rack a slide to chamber a round before engaging. Plus, you may not have two hands free to execute the process. This citizen had safety on but his muscle memory and training allowed him to casually turn it off and draw his firearm undetected.
