But I don't see it yet...? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74038906 these "biden did that" assholes are always complaining ... but are driving nonetheless.... typical assholes full of shit. |

Specifically, I am not seeing as many pickups, hauling travel trailers, but the number of high-end buses, has increased. There is also not as many kids in the 18-24 age group that used to be here right about now, as High School and College ends for the Summer. It's kinda of nice not to have to hunt for a parking place on the main drag but the tourist dollar is very important to the community, and it's having an impact, a negative one....on small businesses. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 83410110 United States 06/10/2022 07:56 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Possibly, but I believe that much of this is due to the underground economy, which includes drug trafficking, human trafficking, and money laundering from these and many more criminal activities. Many people where I am at in the USA do not have credit cards, don't seem to work and have no children yet they keep driving like no tomorrow, my guess is money from criminal gang activities. |

In the end, you stop spending money on the extra things. Transportation is probably one of the highest priority expenses. Once people stop driving, and aren’t being compensated in some way, that’s when it all falls apart. Because that means people aren’t going to work, aren’t getting paychecks, and businesses shutdown due to lack of employees. |

And they all seem to be going somewhere fast..... Peoria IL, known for Caterpillar, Pabst Beer and Hiram Walker liquor. But they're gone, Caterpillar, now minor presence. But the traffic is still fierce... |
