I agree with you 100%. The hospital is the last place you want to go. I went to the ER with pneumonia symptoms on 8/27 and they had me paralyzed and on a ventilator within hours. I was transferred to another hospital 30 days later with 7 ongoing serious medical issues! They didn't even fix the issue I went in for. I literally have no recollection of what happened but I know without a doubt I never consented to being on a vent. I'm convinced they loaded me up with IV tranquilizers when I asked to discharged AMA. It gets worse.. I was paralyzed and ventilated for 30 days, lost 77 pounds and developed a stage four pressure injury from not being repositioned and being malnourished. Fortunately my dad fought to get me transferred despite the doctors telling my family daily that I wouldn't survive. I was life flighted to a bigger more capable hospital on the 31st day and they actually saved my life. Baptist in Oxford Mississippi, every doctor, nurse, nutritionist and house keeper treated me like I was an actual person that had some value. When I woke up there I couldn't move, had just been trachd so I couldn't talk and I had no idea where I was. The staff went out of their way to try to read my lips to answer my questions and kept me updated all day, even though I had no idea what was going on thanks to almost lethal levels of morphine, fentanyl and Dilaudid. I spent 6 weeks there while the fixed all of the issues I developed at the first hospital. My third hospital was a shit hole in Memphis where I was supposed to get rehab so I could walk and function again. Complete opposite from Oxford. Staff was rude, forgot to feed me several times, wouldn't come when I pushed the call button and neglected to address abdominal pain I was having. Thanks to that I transferred to yet another shit hole facility for gallbladder surgery. Same subpar level of care there as well. I can say without a doubt the only difference in staff between the various facilities was race. Oxford was ALL white and acted caring and professional. Memphis, not surprisingly, was all black. I was literally told they delayed care for me because I was a white man. As for the first facility where I was rushed onto a vent and left to die, they were all white also. It's a small rural hospital and they saw me as a covid gold mine. "Treated" me for covid despite never even testing me for it. Pumped me full of poisonous remdisivir and every other lucrative yet ineffective protocol they had. If I hadn't had a family that knew better than to buy there bullshit I'd be dead for sure. Moral of the story, stay the fuck away from hospitals and black people make horrible health care providers.

No he is right. They cut linen too, that is why we run out early in the shift. Again, it is easy for management to do this stuff because if we are so low on linen we can't change beds often enough patients will say "the nurse didn't bother to change my sheets". They are so completely stupid they think that the hospital is going to not cut costs on stuff like that, or respond to the nurse when she asks for clean linen.

The food thing I believe because management has massively cut costs on catering too. It was impossible for the nurse to get trays for her patients. If they did come, they were late, or wrong.

What do you expect? We are in the midst of a medical depopulation event. IE they're killing us on purpose as fast as they can. I wouldn't go there for any reason. And my step-daughter is the head nurse at the hospital.

Even the good doctors are losing their minds. It's like they are becoming sociopaths.

I had my kids in the early 90s, was the same then.

I was in for 3 to 4 days, didn’t get fed till my last day. No water, couldn’t flush the toilet, no electricity, they were running on generator.

Had my stuff plugged into wrong outlet, went off, finally someone came in to plug into outlet that was with generator.

Different hospital, same story, and more.

Local hospital pushes the fiction that Nurse Practitioners or Physician's Assistance are Doctors. One ER staff would have come to blows on this. A "doctor" is not a Doctor. Apparently no physicians on duty at ER. Half the staff seem to be foreign born. Local hospital has become part of a regional hospital cartel. It's scary. After our recent experience, my daughter pledged to not take me to a hospital, but to let God's will be done with me.

We have walked out 2 times, and that was 30 years ago, I can’t imagine how horrible it is now.

If I haven't experienced basically the same level of "service" everywhere I go now today, I would say you are making it up. But I know you are not making this up. this is (sadly) going on across the country in various ways and to various degrees, but all bad yes. I live in PNW and I can tell you, your story should shock, but it's basically been my experience for the last 2 years now.. which is why I try now to avoid doc and hospital visits as much as humanely possible. I don't think a majority of people realize the extent of all of this just yet... but have a bad feeling if it continues this direction, it's gonna start sinking in for people. You would think it would be already...

The best and most intelligent healthcare workers were the ones who refused to get the death jab. Most of them were fired. What remained was of much lower quality.

I've wondered about this. But I think it hit the it happened even more with the nurse assistant staff. The only NA I had that seemed to even be cognizant was a young fellow working the job while going to nursing school for his RN. He was good.

Sounds like a Hospital Specific thing ... though maybe all hospitals in Houston are that bad. (friend's brother died of cancer that was easily treatable here, a virtually 100% positive outcome here ... but received HORRIBLE CARE in Houston - so bad they were even giving different drugs to him that were noted right on the packaging should NOT be used with other drugs they were giving him)

Here in my part of the Midwest the hospitals are VERY different from your description. Good care here, though expensive as shit.

Here you sorta "self select" where to go based upon what you are going in for. Some are good for one thing, others for another thing. One has a reputations for cross infections of other shit while you are there - so definitely do NOT go there!!

most nurses i know are worse than dumb sheep and act like nuse ratchet.some are awake and in it for right reasons.i respect the profession but it is the amorican murder association they are under.

Hospitals can be very frustrating depending on which one you are in and the amount of staff. Sorry this is happening to you OP. Praying it all works out.
