good for people
excellent hospital care

bad for people

healthcare fraud and corruption has been on going for a very long time made worse by obama care

insurance companies raised hell on obama care until Peelosi told them "no one said you couldn't reduce services and increase rates".

it's intentional

poor care means poor outcomes and more deaths

death means less people

it's what they want

democrats and republicans big butt buddies

vote for them you gay

Bingo. They are trying to kill patients and they are setting the nurse and doctor up to fail and get all the blame.

Medically complex patients die from errors for two reasons.

#Their overstretched RN and Physician cannot be 100 places at once and is responsible for numerous other critical patients that all take too much time away from each other.

#2 Stable patients trying to use their lone RN whom they are sharing with 10 critically ill patients as personal care service staff. When they do that shit, they obstruct her from critical and time sensitive tasks she needs to be on top of for her other patients. People like this get the other patients they are sharing with their nurse fucking killed.

It is very beneficial for the people who run the health care system to violently understaff wards and fill them with critically ill patients because they ultimately save money, never get accountable for the harm they cause, and they are getting paid handsomely for cooperating with deep state directives to kill these people off and blame shift onto the health care professional. Medicare is bankrupt so they are going to fuck the hospitals up so badly that people die from severe rationing.

Re: I am in hospital. Hospitals are bad now…. Poor quality healthcare. Stay TF away.
Society worships nurses and they literally get paid $30-60 an hour to stand around in the hallway chatting with each other. Why the glorification? I don’t get it, every time I’ve been in the ER I’ve been largely ignored, I almost would rather die at this point than go back to the ER. Good luck getting a cup of water while the nurses are laughing amongst themselves. Yeah such an honorable job. Worst thing they do is deal with bed wounds and they get paid handsomely for it.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 82212880

There are no " the nurses". You are sharing one RN with 10 other patients and she is run off her feet with stuff you don't understand.

The staff you see hanging around in the hallway are not nurses, they are minimum wage workers who have no health care training and cannot help with anything. They certainly are not going to get pressed into being assistant nurses nor try to help. No way. They don't care if your nurse is drowning and so overloaded with critical stuff that she cannot push past it to deal with your bullshit.

Unfortunately, the criminals in hospital management have been able to get away with slashing nurse numbers and throwing untrained, non-nursing minimum wage workers on the wards instead of nurses. They get away with it (and kill patients doing it) because you stupid fucks cannot tell the difference between a nurse and an orderly.

It's amazing how patients and visitors will observe untrained non-nursing staff in the area and think what those people are doing is somehow indicative of how busy the nurse is.

The minute I hear someone say "the nurses" I already know I am listening to a dipshit who 1) doesn't understand that they are sharing one nurse with 10 people and 2) uses the word 'nurse' to describe any staff member they see from an orderly to a lab tech. I also realize that I am talking to a dipshit that doesn't understand acuity. You are sharing your nurse with acutely ill complex people and all of your probably need your own one to one RN to get what you need when you need it and be safe.

Four patients per nurse is dangerous and impossible. When administrators cut down the allowed nurse numbers to make it 10 patients per nurse they did it on the orders of the CMS to save money and cause harm.

YOU people have not done any research and keep going to DOCTORS! Go finds an EAV specialist..Electro Acupuncture by VOLL. They find all disease via frequencies. Its 100% ACCURATE. Then they will get rid of ANY infection via BIOPHOTON.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 82135043

I agree...I was a RN trained in several specilaites, including Infectious Disease O(so I am pissed beyond words about 2020 and beyond). When I got sick in 1998, it took 10yrs for me to get a diagnosis. By then I was bedbound and walking with a walker and neurologically impacted. I left the sickcare system in 2011 and used ALL the things. What I found is pharma is a sham as a first line of defense. Most doctors only have narcotics as a answer to unrelenting pain (yet magnets work really well). Surgery is not always needed. I finally was diagnosed with neuro-lyme but that was just opportunistic because I was actually quite toxic with metals and biotoxins. I regained my health and function even though I was told I would not.

There are many ways to boost the immune system and deal with infections. You will never learn that in a hospital. I have instructed my family not to call an ambulance for me, ever. Not even if it's a life or death situation. the only way I would go is if I am in an accident and transported unconcious. And I imagine I would walk out AMA as soon as I could. I did not even go for a broken and displaced rib...let it heal for 2 weeks and a body worker reset it.

I feel so bad for people who do not have any medcial background and are dependent on conventional medicine. But, it's never too late to learn and there are tons of SM support groups to start learning about new ways to deal with symptoms and illness. Although you do ahve to be careful and follow the breadcrumbs, doing your own research! I also use bioresonance, terahertz frequency, and PEMF at home....biores has dealt with 3 infections in the last 2 years that I woould have had to see a doc and get antibiotics for. Point is, many things can be managed at home...caveat, if you are on pharma, then it is never wise to manage those without a doctor or pharmcist guiding you and making sure that supplements are not going to interact or counter-act.

Good luck to all as we watch the sickcare system collapse...

Avoid at all costs.

I am in a decent facility too…. Herman memorial in The Woodlands, Texas.

I have had three meals in 72 hours. Food is good… just can’t get any.

Nurses take forever to address issues. My IV has beeped with errors for an hour. Nurses are 20 feet away and just chatting nonsense. I press the button and they don’t even answer… let it roll over to main operator who has to page. They still ignore.

Sunday thru today… four days. Every day a different hospital doctor. The doctors are in the room for a few minutes at most…. One for less than 30 seconds. I don’t get the same answer twice, ever…. Hey are clueless. Can’t make any progress. Can’t get any information on test results. They are drawing blood and doing all this crap… well, what are the results.

I told them to discharge me…. Doctor came in and said he would not, I would have to leave on my own against medical advice. Big argument. My brother is a doctor in Florida - he called in and made some progress so I am going to stay here for now.

They come in three times to scan bed…. So worried about it being stolen. They scan the IV machine three days in a row too… so worried about that. But the bed sheets never changed. The towel in the bathroom has been wet and on the floor three days… they don’t care about that.

Seriously…. If I had known I would have just killed myself instead of go through this crap.

And I have not had an American born nurse yet. One American born floor assistant. One just off the boat from Haiti barely speaks English.

This place is a joke.

 Quoting: SafeandSound

Yes I do. It's more abusive to be a nurse than to be a patient. I have done enough of both. So many patients are getting killed by other patients causing medical errors. When they don't get whatever it is they are fixated on when they want it the first thing they do think that the nurse is ignoring them (especially if they are seeing non-nursing staff hanging around) . With that they end up distracting their nurse away from cardizem and insulin drips and causing fatal errors.

The other shitty thing is the computer system that the government mandated. The nurse has no way of getting a hold of your (or the other 9 patients she is responsible for) medications or anything else without doing hours of computer shit. It could take her 45 minutes of abandoning her respiratory distress patient just to get her hands on the pain meds you are demanding so that she can give them to you. To the pain patient, this translates as " the nurse is making me wait".

And even when management has cut the staffing levels so low that 10 patients are sharing one nurse who has no help these fucking people are like "the nurses, the nurses, the nurses". They literally think that there are herds of nurses around who can just give them undivided attention and instantly produce anything they want.

What condition are your teeth in? Have you had regular cleanings and checkups?

People who neglect their teeth have a much higher rate of illness than those who keep them cleaned properly.

It's shocking how many doctors and Hospitals still take no notice of dental infections or poor hygiene and don't order a cleaning of the teeth. It's just more disconnect from whats actually making people sick.

Get your teeth cleaned and keep them cleaned and flossed while in the hospital. You should be using a water pick at home.

Any Nurse or Doctor who says there is no correlation between the state of your teeth oral health and your overall health is lying. Stop seeing them.

Yeah, a few years ago I was supposed to get a mammogram there and a lung xray for an up coming sinus surgery. The mammogram department was a joke. They kept getting me mixed up with another patient. I showed up for my appointment and they still had the wrong name. I turned around and left. Never did get sinus surgery either.

Wow! That sucks. I had a heart attack and had to go in

for a 3-day stay. The only complaint I had was nurses

kept 'checking my scar' on my thigh where they inserted

the STENT. I was NOT wearing underwear so they kept

inspecting my scar next to my Johnson.

Other than that, they took real good care and NOTHING

BUT YOUNG BEAUTIFUL NURSES took care of me.

I couldn't believe it.

On my third day, they said they we're going to let me

go home. So I asked a nurse if I can remove my catheter

as I wanted to pee on my own. As I was getting ready to

go and yank it---SHE DID IT! I just looked at her

and said 'oh, that's much better' and went to the

RR. Then a BIGGER nurse came in later, never seen her before.

She did the same thing, 'I need to check your scar' and

I had put on my underwear by then. She started yanking

my briefs to take them off, I said 'it's right there,

you can see it' as I was holding my underwear from

being yanked off. She said 'oh, it's healing'. Weirdo!

Damn! That was really uncomfortable. But yeah, great

place, they let me come home and I was so happy.

I figured 'if I die, God can take me from here.'

HOSPITALS ARE LONELY!!! That's the reason it sucks.

Nothing but old people where I was. Very depressing.

I had major surgery last year in a huge hospital. The after care was terrible. They are not nurses, they are pct, patient care technicians. They take vitals and that’s about it. Any idiot can take vitals. There is very little hands on care anymore. You ask for them to do something for you or get you something and it’s just a big bother. I had major abdominal surgery and I had pretty much no hands on card afterwards. My teeth and face never got washed. My food tray would be dropped and never even set up so I could reach food. It’s hard to do anything with a huge, vertical abdomen incision.
It use to be rn’s who cared for you, now it’s pcts and believe me, these are the low of the low!

I took my Aunt home after major cancer surgery and had to take her back around 30 hours later. She was put in the same side ward, the biscuit wrapper that she had dropped before being discharged was still under the bed and there were spots of blood near to the bathroom door. My other half's friend had his leg amputated and was not checked on for 7 hours after coming round. He developed sepsis and it was only when his wife phoned him (covid shitty visiting rules) and he was talking utter nonsense that they realised when she rang the ward and said he has sepsis i know because he has had it before.....

All true. They’ve been running nurses like a 3rd world shit hole for decades. You wouldn’t believe how nurses and therefore patients are treated in america.

Put a lot of candy in your room and you will get the nurses to check on you.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79543875

You are sharing one lone nurse with 10 patients. How is that "the nurses"? One of her critical patients gets killed because she abandons them to "check on you" she is going to jail probably. The managers who left her short staffed will throw her under the bus. She isn't taking that risk because you have candy.

Re: I am in hospital. Hospitals are bad now…. Poor quality healthcare. Stay TF away.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76584695

Patient care assistants are not nurses, but that is who management replaced nurses with. Then they drastically cut the PCT numbers too. The patient care technician is run off her feet too. Usually it is ONE PCT to 36 patients all ringing at once, demanding her attention, falling out of bed, pissing themselves etc. The PCT has to do labs and vitals on 36 people. It is hours of her running. There is no time to stay and wash someone up. Get a job as a PCT and try it sometime. You will be running for 14 hours without stopping and will still have patients calling you the lowest of the low because you wouldn't get your other patients killed to just stay in her room. Kind of like what you are doing right now.

I think I would like people like you to ADMIT that you are fine with hospitals cutting staffing, and that you will act like an abusive bitch to your PCT and Nurse for not getting the patients you are sharing them with killed to just stay in your room and be your personal service staff. People like you are why I have been saying for years that patients should be forced to finance their own one to one RN or not be allowed into the hospital. Period. You guys are not able to share a nurse and PCT with other patients without acting like abusive animals.

Yet you don't support the nurse when they are fighting for safe staffing levels so that you can get the care you need when you are in hospital.

There is not a shortage. Government cut their numbers down and instructed hospitals to short staff their RNs so violently that no RN wants to work in a hospital. Patients act like abusive animals and try to kill the other patients they are sharing their nurse with when management short staffs the place.
