Nurses are 20 feet away and just chatting nonsense. I press the button and they don’t even answer… let it roll over to main operator who has to page. They still ignore. Sunday thru today… four days. Every day a different hospital doctor. The doctors are in the room for a few minutes at most…. One for less than 30 seconds. I don’t get the same answer twice, ever…. Hey are clueless. Can’t make any progress. Can’t get any information on test results. They are drawing blood and doing all this crap… well, what are the results. I told them to discharge me…. Doctor came in and said he would not, I would have to leave on my own against medical advice. Big argument. My brother is a doctor in Florida - he called in and made some progress so I am going to stay here for now. They come in three times to scan bed…. So worried about it being stolen. They scan the IV machine three days in a row too… so worried about that. But the bed sheets never changed. The towel in the bathroom has been wet and on the floor three days… they don’t care about that. Seriously…. If I had known I would have just killed myself instead of go through this crap. And I have not had an American born nurse yet. One American born floor assistant. One just off the boat from Haiti barely speaks English. This place is a joke. I was just in a trauma/cardiac specialty hospital for a little over a week and my time there was nothing like yours. I spent half my stay in a regular medical ward and the other half in a critical cardio care unit. Everyone whether they were part of Housekeeping, Dietary, CNA, Nursing or my Doctor teams were fantastic. Even when I was discharged, my Nurse stayed with me until I was in the car and then made sure everyone understood what I needed to continue my care at home. My SIL, who is a Nurse, told me she had never seen any care provider show that level of dedication before. I really think it depends on what facility you're at. I was lucky to be at one of the best. INFJ Rarest of Personalities and a walking contradiction. |

Nearby is a hospital that opened 2 years ago. nice, big hospital with all the latest shit. Having been in ER's and hospitals many, many times over the last 40 years, I can tell you that it was the most poorly run, disfunctional ER that I had ever seen. So poor that I ended signing myself out and going to another, older hospital. The doctors on staff seemed ignorant in how to deal and talk to patients, and that seemed to be their strong point. The older hospital ER was better run, but overwhelmed. (Main Trauma ER for All of Southern NJ.) ER doctors better trained but again, overwhelmed with the volume. Very slow for me, but with all the triage going on, I do understand. But even at that, they still managed to give me information in a timely manner, even if it was brief. After admission, I found the floor staff again overwhelmed, with ignorant aids trying to do nursing jobs. I had to stop them more than once trying to give me IV drugs or clearing an iv clot. Only RN's are allowed to do that. All in all, The level of care today is quite a bit lower than previous decades. Food service was ghastly, the worse I ever had from 40+ years experience with 12 hospitals. Volume 3x normal for this time of year. Some are gunshot wounds… several came in while I was in ER. Gunshot wounds in the Woodlands? Dayum. I guess coming from Gunspoint, errr, I mean Greenspoint. Yup! I think Dems are paying for "urban hoodrat" types folks to live up here. I've seen them in the grocery stores, nails salons and other stores. They weren't here a few years ago. Crime has gone up a lot. |

I started doing it on my own because they seemed too busy. Also, since I had a heart attack, they took A LOT OF BLOOD. Sometimes three vials a day. They would wake me up to draw blood. AT NIGHT!!! I asked why? They said they were not getting the readings they wanted. My cholesterol level was low (120) and they said it should be high but it wasn't. They were concerned it was so low I said 'I have been trying to take care of myself and not eating bad'. Even now, they can't believe it's low. I had a cardiogram or whatever you call it when they hook you up to monitor your heart. They said 'you have a strong heart'. I saw it pumping. It was surreal to see it. They made me wear one too. A home heart monitor. Wore it on my chest for a month, with a cell phone to send them the data. They said there is no arrhythmia to worry about. SORRY YOU HAD A BAD EXEPRIENCE OP!!!! The RN's I had were wonderful, but run ragged. One told me she normally had 12 rooms to cover. The aids did all the non RN required stuff but even they were understaffed and a mix of attitudes. Nursing has no control over it, and your RN is working 14 hours without food or drink for herself because of understaffing and no coverage for lunch breaks due to managerial greed. The same people who cut nurse numbers down so far that they nurse cannot take a break are the same fuckers who cut food service to patients. The non-nursing staff who have no involvement in patient care take a lot of breaks. But the nurse gets none. Place was busting at the seems, people everywhere in hallways. Dr we saw was very kind and thanks to getting an x ray done right away when's we got there, Dr got him temporary split and out of there within 3 hours which was very fast compared to what I thought it would've. Dr said people are there for all sorts of medical conditions, sounds like vaccine injuries to me... people of all ages with things from strange illnesses, infections, chest pains, covid, brain problems,... I just kept thinking I get a huge part of these causes started from the damn Covid vaccines. Very few people were there due to covid complications. Dr said his ER has been crazy busy for some months now, much more then even during high covid before the vaccines were available. Nurses are 20 feet away and just chatting nonsense. I press the button and they don’t even answer… let it roll over to main operator who has to page. They still ignore. Sunday thru today… four days. Every day a different hospital doctor. The doctors are in the room for a few minutes at most…. One for less than 30 seconds. I don’t get the same answer twice, ever…. Hey are clueless. Can’t make any progress. Can’t get any information on test results. They are drawing blood and doing all this crap… well, what are the results. I told them to discharge me…. Doctor came in and said he would not, I would have to leave on my own against medical advice. Big argument. My brother is a doctor in Florida - he called in and made some progress so I am going to stay here for now. They come in three times to scan bed…. So worried about it being stolen. They scan the IV machine three days in a row too… so worried about that. But the bed sheets never changed. The towel in the bathroom has been wet and on the floor three days… they don’t care about that. Seriously…. If I had known I would have just killed myself instead of go through this crap. And I have not had an American born nurse yet. One American born floor assistant. One just off the boat from Haiti barely speaks English. This place is a joke. Thats why I always laugh at all those hospital and ER shows on TV that show doctors and nurses rushing around. Its never like that. I remember 20 years ago I went to the ER (broke my ankle). The waiting area was packed full. Several people had serious injuries. I'll never forget the one guy, probably in his early 20's, was brought in, he had a workplace accident. Some industrial acid sprayed his face. His eye was so fucked and he was in agony. The acid was literally eating his skin while he was sitting in the waiting room. They made him sit and wait in the waiting area. We sat there for hours. In the meantime I saw doctors and nurses standing around, chatting, making jokes. Literally sat there and watched two doctors stand at the nearby desk talk about their weekend golfing plans. They just stood there talking about golf for an hour .... then WALKED AWAY. Meanwhile the ER waiting area was packed with people, some with shit that needed immediate attention. No one cared. Not a single doctor or nurse gave a fuck. Thats when I realized hospitals, doctors, nurses, are all bullshit and you cannot rely on them or trust them. To get seen rapidly you need to start screaming. That is what this guy should have done. They kept my son 4 days in the hospital for no reason, just because I gave birth on the way there. They wouldn’t let him leave, they wouldn’t let me take him against medical advice. They wouldn’t let him transfer hospitals because there was no medical reason - because he had no medical diagnosis in the first place. Then they told me I had to leave because of the no visitor policy during the Pandemic. Hospitals are filled with 99% clot shot shedding staff. That is when you call a lawyer pronto. |

Patient calls the nurse station, dispatch says a nurse will be right with you, the same twit that was standing right outside the door bullshitting is the same one who eventually comes in to fix it. She is also the same one who orders your meds from the hospital pharmacy, makes sure the iv drip has the right medication in it, so on and so forth, that’s the fucking nurse you dumb fucking cunt, so quit saying it’s an orderly or a lab tech, we can tell the difference you self righteous condescending douche nozzle. You must be a male nurse with commie sand in his vagina. Units are not staffed with enough nurses for you to see nurses in the hallway. You saw staff in the hallway. I can tell your are shilling for the criminal sociopaths who are making these cuts in hospitals so fuck off. If anyone is being a shill it’s you for the AMA and the ANA you dumb fucking cunt. It was the nurse, not an orderly or some dumb fuck doing paperwork at the nurses station. To say that doesn’t happen is just plain ignorance.
