Because this question is still relevant and the general consensus in this communities on that very question was blurry.
Quoting: uhhuh you get on the ships or your suit of meat is likely not to survive. Most have no concept of survival skills in such a situation if the earth needs to be evacuated.. and if it needs total evacuation for an axis shift.. it has to be evacuated in 2 short hours.. because of the volcanization etc. Of course Satan's Little Helper would say so. As if they are arriving at the bus stop for you at your beck and call.
