Gravity works on air molecules just like everything else on earth. That's why the atmosphere blankets the surface of the earth. And Air pressure is higher at sea level than at elevation. Just More air weighing down on earth(your head).

make with people and funds being spent to be in space???

So far, I see nothing we have benefitted from by the space

venture. Oh sure, some people with a degree in space,

engineering and others that make machinations for space

travel are LOVING IT!!

But what good has it actually done down here on Earth???

should have been advanced already. People are continuing

make so much money, they could care less of what's plaguing

sick of it. When I was a kid, I thought we would make all

these discoveries by now.

Curing cancer, illnesses, food shortages, poverty,

homelessness, childhood diseases, deformities, educational

advantages, automation, pollution...NONE OF THIS HAPPENED!!!

I don't give a sh*t what's happening outside our solar

system. I'm tired of hearing about it really!

The doom and gloom of sun spots, meteorites, solar flares,

radiation---whatever!!!!! This is where we are, let's take

care of the needs here first. Sure, CHI-NAH is making

weapons in space to take out satellites. Protecting our

satellites is an important venture I agree with.

Putting a telescope in space to see, another

good venture. But truly, all the money and time we've

spent and other countries spent, what improvements have

been made down here they always said would happen if we

did it??? I'll tell you---NOTHING!!!

What is Jupiter, why does it stay together when it's

we seem to know about it. Isn't it time to acknowledge

that no matter how far we look, we will never know the

answer to these questions. And maybe it's because He

is in charge and there is no need to know. Because it

wouldn't make a difference anyways. At least...down here...
