Before NASA was formed, the U.S. Navy were the body who investigated space - or the Firmament - and once it was established that the Firmament was impenetrable, NASA was set up to create a narrative smokescreen to deceive and dupe the public into the current concept of "outer space". And Hollywood helped, it did most of the work with The Jetsons cartoon, Star Trek (created by a 33rd degree Freemason), 2001: A Space Odyssey, Star Wars, etc.

And what we have today is actually LESS convincing than what we had from the 1950s to 1970s, as NASA don't give a fuck as much, this charade is exhausting and people there as much as us want to know and tell the truth about the Cosmos.

Hard disagree. Their video editing and in particular, live stream production, has taken a bit of a nose dive in my opinion. SpaceX now routinely does a much better job at coverage of live events, which is pretty amazing given how well NASA used to cover shuttle missions.
