Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78498005 Why? It's a natural process. Haven't you ever seen mammals deliver their offspring? The tough part was that there was no soft grass or dirt, but just a paved street. Newborns bounce and don't get hurt that easily. The kid was in no danger once it dropped, other than the hard surface. Someone running off with the woman's purse was a bigger danger. I've delivered kids and this was one of the easiest deliveries I've ever seen. Of course, it's not complete until the placenta delivers. She'll get around to being a normal mom once she's in a safer place and has had a bit of time to recover.
