Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 65763968 United Kingdom 05/29/2022 12:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So I have started off with half a teaspoon of Magnesium Bisglycinate and a heaped teaspoon of Acorbic Acid in orange juice as I did not want to upset my system till I got use to it. Just on this dose which I take before bed, I have been falling asleep and sleeping a lot better and all through the night too. I suffer from lying in bed waiting to go to sleep and usually don't sleep before midnight, a big problem for me. And now I feel so refreshed so I am not going to up the dose of Magnesium but may the vit C till I get used to it. The Magnesium completely evacuated my colon the next day which felt brilliant. As to why I purchased these two is because I am in my early 60s and my heart felt weak, even though I walk 4 miles a day and have a sparse diet, It still did not feel right. Apparently we get zero Magnesium in our diet and it is so needed for the heart to function properly. And it has taken that weak feeling away just after 4 days. The reason I chose this type of magnesium and vit C is because this type of Magnesium has the most potent saturation for your body, the body does not assimilate other types as good as this.Something to do with the molucles but read up on it. As for the Liposomal Vitamin C, I could not afford it or I would have gone for that. Clive De Carle does state that a good Ascorbic acid (non GMO) works just as well. Cost me around £20.00 for both packets. |

They help the body fight infection and other diseases. |

Taurine also appears to help the magnesium enter the brain. In addition, it is gentle on the GI tract, making it unlikely to cause loose stool and diarrhea. In a recent study, magnesium acetyl taurate increased brain magnesium levels more than any other form of magnesium. MAGNESIUM THREONATE This form of magnesium has impressive studies backing its use in mental health conditions and has evidence that it can cross the blood brain barrier. However, it can be more expensive and may require taking 2-3 times more capsules than other magnesium supplements to reach a sufficient therapeutic dose. MAGNESIUM GLYCINATE Glycine is an essential amino acid that has important neurotransmitter functions in the brain. Glycine supplementation can improve the quality of sleep, making this form of magnesium a good choice for those with insomnia. Preliminary research shows that magnesium glycinate can elevate levels of magnesium in brain tissue. Like magnesium taurate, the glycinate form is gentle on the GI tract. MAGNESIUM MALATE This is one of the better absorbed forms of magnesium, which increases both serum and muscle levels of magnesium. Preliminary research shows that it may be effective in treating symptoms of fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue, as malate is involved with energy production. I just ordered some Glycinate |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78988783 Thanks but not taking Zinc, taking vit C with the Magnesium Too bad...theres a host of things you won't get from food anymore. Soil depletion is a thing. Since your only a few days into this, I would consider going and getting a full panel blood test done to measure as many levels and processes possible. You might be surprised to find out just how many deficiencies your body may have. Not sure if your on a VEE pea ENNE, but if you are in the UK, that nation has one of the worst diets in the western world...like Scots and Americans. |

We already said that glycinate and bisglycinate mean the same thing, which is true, but now we need to discuss the major differences between different brands." Lol seems like we are on the same trail - they just give things weird names. Most important thing is the type and absorption people need to make sure not to mix it up with the kinds that are basically Epsom salts, baking soda is just sodium bicarbonate yadda yadda |

We don't even know what that is in England. Look, it take 3 weeks to get a phone appointment with a GP here. Which I would never do in a million years. The health care here is non existent. That is why I look after myself. I am my family's GP, mom. |
