And he didn't have a driver's license which is required to purchase a firearm. Possibly a "state issued ID" would work, but did he have that?

Cartel doesn't use wet nurse teenagers to do hits, they also don't kill children like that. Not if they want to live very long within their own organization.

Have thought about there being a possible cartel angle here. Would explain a few things. Keep in mind human smuggling is huge in the area. What would make sense to me:

School ISD police chief would be working for them. Orders SRO to leave (hopefully we will find out why the actually did leave). Teacher who propped door open also working for them.

Teacher props door open 1 min before shooter crashes. Shooter goes straight down 2 hallways and directly to those 2 classrooms. School policy is classroom doors are to be closed and locked at all times. Yet magically these classroom doors were not also unlocked, but open as well.

Target was not the kids, but teachers. Why? Both married to police officers. 1 for the school the other for the city. Why target them? Because both officers were not doing what cartel wanted. Would also explain the offer who died of a "heart attack." Couldn't live with the guilt.

Would be looking in that teachers phone to see if anyone called/texted to let them know shooter left the house.
