Is this a Christian holiday I didn't know about?
Quoting: Only Me There are approx 40 canonized Feast days or Holy Days in the Catholic Church. The originals were Pentecost, Easter, Christmas, and The Epiphany. The number has fluctuated over the centuries, but Ascension Thursday (40 days after Easter) has been a long standing feast and considered as solemn as the original 4. Holidays with a feast are the best!
