Super Enforcement Weekend. Drive speed limit, sober and sane.

This reminds me of traffic court when I contested a speeding ticket for 76 mph in the 80's when the speed limit was 55. In New York I would have lost my license at the time.


I was driving a VW that topped out about 62 mph going down a hill. I told the judge I dont know what he was clocking but it wasn't me, I think he is lying.

If you want to get out of a ticket take it to court.


If the cop does show up which is not likely, the odds are about 9 out of 10 he has no proof, just his word. Think about it, how many times did you see a cop test-a-lying in traffic court, not many I'll wager.


If there are no other witnesses besides you claiming you didn't break the law and him claiming you did, the ticket is tossed.

The very simplest (and most complex) planes run at whatever throttle setting and speed you set them at without further intervention just like cruise control on a car, you're lying or stupid. Almost all planes use gps and IFR and fly themselves to the destination.
