So far I'm liking it. It really does put some continuity between the episodes.

It explains Ben's reluctance; even when Luke seeks him out and he is going by Ben instead of Obi-Wan.

It gives continuity to the Force Awakens and how Luke has cut himself off from the force; similar to how we see Ben has partially/mostly cut himself off.

Who cares if the dark sister is a black-women;
She was one of the jedi children who was being trained.
I don't think it's particularlly woke. The scene with Darth Vadar was pretty cool how he was so much more powerful then Obi-Wan. It shows how important hope is; and what can happen at the darkest day- even for a Jedi.

I'm pretty sure we are going to see Obi-Wan return to his strength before this series is up.

The fight (lol if we can call it that) with Vader was quite well done. It really went a long way to establishing the Vader character as an ultimate force. They kind of tried to show the same thing in Rouge One but NOWHERE near as impressive.

I don't know what happened at Disney for them to finally pull their heads out of their asses but I applaud it.

Maybe they spent the better part of 5 minutes talking to real star wars fans...

A 10 year old leia can resist the force power of a trained sith inquisitor. Unlikely. The fact that the inquisitor didn't immediately say "oh hey, this kid is strong with the force". Really dumb

Undercover rebel from an outpost on a different planet walks into the inquisitor HQ, and says to the guard "I'm your commanding officer". The guy buys it and lets her in.

That's not how any of this works. This is like an army captain stationed in Ft. Benning walking into Area 51, or a nuclear missile base and trying the same BS.

No, you are not my commanding officer. You may out rank me, but you are not in my chain of command, I'm going to call my superior officer and see what is up.

Obi Wan is a weak dunder head, Leia is somehow the smartest person in the room, reva is boring and must have read the script to know that obi wan would try, AND BE SUCCESSFUL, at rescuing Leia. The other inquisitor does nothing and is completely ineffective to the plot.

I could go back on and on, this show is garbage.

Disclaimer: Disney gets zero of my money. I only watch Star Wars and Marvel stuff when I visit my little brother and sister.

That being said, my opinion on the Kenobi saga so far is good. The old-schoolness is refreshing. The intensity of Kenobi finding out the "news" on his former padawon was done very well.

I was shocked a little by the scene of Kenobi attempting to communicate with Qui-Gon...seemed an awful lot like Prayer.

But yeah, totally being overshadowed by the inquisitors.
