You know what? Liberals do make the best sociopaths. Nothing wrong with that. |

Everyone is glad to point out the film is pro American and therefore people will go see it. The fact the Chinese are offended makes everyone glad and people will probably even pay to see it twice. |

Call of Duty is basically a recruiting tool ... too bad sometimes Call of Duty players instead of enlisting want to try AR-15 as fast as possible, like the Texas School shooter guy ... a devoted Call of Duty player ... American films didn't play in China until about 2005. Now China is such a big market that it helps a shitty movie make money now. That's why you see so many shitty movies now and you rarely hear of a "box office bomb" as they used to call them. Top Gun is about closeted gay guys, of course, as Tarantino revealed to us: |

Was he on Joe Rogan once? I don't know ... but Rogan sounds like a guy who could have been willing to have the guy on his podcast of course there has been war propaganda movies before Top Gun, but the co-operation between Hollywood and Pentagon became more systematic ... like the Pentagon reading the scripts, if the movie was going to show the Military in a good light the Military will give planes, boats and all kind of military hardware as props for the production and provides grunts as extras but ... nowadays in movie making it's not necessary to borrow real gear like fighter jets and carrier battle groups all can be done with computers ... so that might change things a bit |

It's rather difficult to get patriotic under the current circumstances. (BTW, nothing beats Firefox. My brother and I watched that at the Cinedome theaters filled to capacity and everybody cheered when Clint stole the plane. Back when two little boys could walk to the movies and not get kidnapped, raped and shot.) |

I seem to recall reading or seeing a podcast maybe (?) where it was officially revealed that Navy SEALS was a propaganda/advertising movie for the military. There have been many of those over the past 40 years. But since the 9/11 torture photos, most people look at the military like, "fuck that noise, looks horrible, looks GAY." |
