Been eating more veggies. Shop at minority owned stores, produce usually cheaper. Cut paid streaming services and just use free. Called insurance broker and had him check around for better rates. Changed cell phone carrier to pay as you go, better and cheaper service. Conscious of not eating out, and thinking twice about if I need something or want something...

I do not have internet on my phone, I have TracFone and get their $15 plan and when you renew, you have the option to pay $50 to keep those minutes/texts from expiring for a whole year.

I may have to top up 500min/500txts like once in the year. So $80/year instead of $900 ($75/month) that I used to pay.

I download my area as an offline map on Google maps to help me get around. My work has wifi so I can browse the internet on my phone on my breaks. I used to do the TMobile $3/mo but had a problem with service in boonies and would have to stand by the road. Obviously this may not work for people with lives and people who care enough about them to want to talk to them a lot.
