He says we are in a trucking depression.

He has never seen fuel prices so high and freight income so low. He has not seen the normal seasonal flurries for Memorial Day and July 4th.

A lot depends on the refrigerated trucks. The call these reefers.


He recommends keeping the fuel tank full and to top up when it is half way empty. I am not sure I understand that because it seems it would be heavier and take a little extra diesel to transport the diesel. Maybe it is not significant.

But I do not understand that statement but he is very adamant about it. Perhaps someone can explain why.
