Henry Kissinger says Ukraine must give Russia territory

Sometimes Kissinger is right. He's pragmatic and knows the west is losing on this. The "world" is NOT in support of what's being done to Russia or hurting themselves for the cause of the western Satanists and that even includes within the EU. Rightly, Kissinger warns of the west driving Russia and China closer together. People should read the article.


It is doubtful whether the West can maintain a united front in pursuit of such far-reaching war aims with absolutist aims. Mr Cantor said it would require secondary sanctions against other countries, putting the West in a head on clash with China, India, and almost 60 states that refused to back a UN resolution denouncing Russia’s invasion.

Mr Cantor said the US was in danger of overplaying its hand. “We have got to have multilateral support. We are already being accused of weaponising the world’s reserve currency. Even allies and friends are starting to ask, if you are using it in this way, we too could one day be subject to these sanctions,” he said.

I'm an oldster reading and occasionally contributing at GLP. In the days leading up to the Yom Kippur War, I was in Government service stationed in Europe. One of the others from our office drove over to Bonn to meet with Kissinger on his way to Moscow, where seven Airborne divisions were waiting at Sheremetev airport to board those Antonovs for flights down to seize the Suez Canal before disobedient General Sharon could do it. (Israeli military Chief of Staff David Elizer had instructed tank commander General Ariel Sharon to halt his advance into Egypt. Sharon responded over a tank radio, telling Eliezer to go commit the standard anatomical impossibility).

I had just returned from Israel 48 hours earlier.

The U.S. military was, comparatively speaking, unprepared to meet the Russian force. Some very uncomplimentary language could be brought to the fore here. Something about U.S. troops' widespread use of drugs there at the time (primarily Lebanese hashish). We removed that problem later. The drug bosses were two Maronite brothers from the Bekaa valley in Lebanon - Amin and Bashir Gemayel. This is another story dating back to WWI and the Versailles business in which France insisted upon their departure from Lebanon, that an area be reserved for the Maronite - Catholic - population there. So they had their minority representation in Parliament and freedom to keep the U.S. ,military supplied with drugs - until the Yom Kippur War highlighted the disadvantages. Anyway, after the Yom Kippur War, we blew up Amin Gemayel and later got his older brother Bashir with a Lufthansa cargo hold full of dope, at Berlin's Templehof Airport.

Kissinger "lost" his briefcase in Moscow, long enough for U.S. forces to scramble together something resembling a response force, at Rhine Mein airfield outside Frankfurt. I learned about this at 10:15 that evening, and immediately took a short walk around my residence to think about how this would turn out.

As it turned out, Kissinger's ploy worked, and by the time his briefcase was "recovered", he was able to proceed with at least a semblance of an American military response, for Soviet eyes in the area. But - as was the hope - the Russians blinked, and Andropov is reported to have told Kissinger, "We will not fight a nuclear war over Syria and Egypt". The Jerusalem Post editor at the time Abraham Rabinovitch has written about events in Moscow then in more detail.

I don't see how Kissinger deserved a Nobel Peace Prize for the deal in Vietnam, but maybe a case could be made for October 1973 in Moscow.
