If you had chicken pox as a kid there is about a 50% chance you will get shingles later later in live. I have had it, it is fucking painful. Nothing to do with covid or any other vaxxes.

I had shingles in 2021 (it sucked bad), but I don't see how one could confuse the two. My skin looked nothing like monkeypox.

I think the covid vax is also activating it in people who are unvaccinated. I am not vaxxed and got shingles right after they started vaccinating everyone in early 2021.

Shingles is the chicken pox virus.

Anyone who has had chicken pox as a kid, carries the chicken pox virus for life.

When your immune system drops, the chicken pox virus comes out of dormancy and forms "shingles" (aka adult chicken pox). And it takes a drastic drop in immune function for the chicken pox virus to form shingles. Ex: people on chemo and radiation therapy have the highest incidences of shingles (as to people over the age of 80).


So its not activating anything in the people ..... their immune system function has dropped.

btw ive had shingles twice now.
once while in the correctional facility about 9 years ago. there was some bumps on my side, hurt really bad if i accidentally laid on it or brushed my hand there etc.felt like when u electrocute yourself on a cord that is damaged etc. took over a month to heal aside from the permanent lesser nerve pain that stayed.
second time was 2019 started as same type thing about an inch away from my mouth, within a week one side of my face definitely looked like that picture. i was so fucked up i looked like a zombie lol i was in so much pain it was inside my mouth i cannot describe the pain & i didnt go to the er for weeks afraid of wtf was wrong with me. on top of that i had it in the area between my butthole and pussy hole (guy would say taint) and peeing was so unbearable i actually passed out in pain one night and chipped a tooth on the side of my mouth. (the kind of pain where you have a placental abruption & lose pints of blood & wake up from an emergency csection and realize you are in so much pain it hurts to move even one of your fingers without agony and basically all you can do is pick a spot on a wall and stare while silently going insane..)
anyway i finally had my x husband take me to ER and find out a few days later it was shingles -which i didnt know was possible
that took about 2 months to mostly heal, no permanent nerve pain from that one.

This report updates results of the epidemiologic investigation, provides information on the use of smallpox vaccine during the outbreak, and summarizes the animal tracing activities to identify the origin and subsequent distribution of infected animals.

Epidemiologic Investigation
As of July 8, 2003, a total of 71 cases of monkeypox have been reported to CDC from Wisconsin (39), Indiana (16), Illinois (12), Missouri (two), Kansas (one), and Ohio (one); these include 35 (49%) cases laboratory-confirmed at CDC and 36 (51%) suspect and probable cases under investigation by state and local health departments (Figure 1). Eleven cases were excluded from those reported previously because they met the exclusion criteria outlined in the updated national case definition, and one new case was added (1). The number of cases increased from May 15 through the week ending June 8 and declined subsequently; the date of onset for the last case was June 20. Of the 71 cases, 39 (55%) occurred among females; the median age was 28 years (range: 1--51 years). Age data were unavailable for one patient. Among 69 patients for whom data were available, 18 (26%) were hospitalized; some patients were hospitalized for isolation precautions only. Two patients, both children, had serious clinical illness (1--4); both of these patients have recovered. The majority of patients were exposed to prairie dogs. Some patients were exposed in premises where prairie dogs were kept, and others were exposed to persons with monkeypox. No patients have been confirmed to have had exposure to persons with monkeypox as their only possible exposure.

I can't find the one from the Health website though- I found an article with the same tittle but has a different image and different text beneath it- it is plausible that they altered it once this 'error' was discovered- it is also possible someone swapped pics to stir-the pot a bit.

Scratch all that above- if you scroll down the search results on Healthsite.com, about half a dozen or so, there it is- from July 17th, 2021- WITH the exact same photo for the story icon- when you click it, the image has been changed to hands with actual MPX!
