The people who get that letter and don't take the government up on the offer end up being crushed by the government. They are immediately audited by the IRS and have every other government agency breathing down their neck. You tried dealing with the IRS, OSHA, etc going over every bit of paperwork you've ever filed.

Luckily the government really doesn't consider me to be a farmer. I literally grow tomatoes. It's the grain producers they are trying to destroy.

I get this. None of us want to challenge the feds. With so many ways to screw us, it’s really very scary to attempt to combat them; however, there comes a time in all of our lives (more than once for many of us) where we have to stand on principal. This is how our nation was built, and the men/women willing to challenge “authority” over the years are the reason we became the greatest country on the planet. But also the most complacent, which allowed the scam artists and other criminals to walk on in.

It wasn’t your fault or even our parents’ fault, but the responsibility now falls on us at this time to right it-or not. The choices we make today will determine the fate of this planet for our kids and generations to come.

They are sitting in the market. We grow extra every year in case of emergency. We only need so much. It's grown in case fires pest wind damage hell. It's to make sure people never go without. But keep whining if they stop first bad year, I hope its your dumbass that starves.

I understand this sentiment. If I work my ass off to grow a crop or raise livestock, I will naturally sell to the highest bidder. I may also willingly accept subsidies to grow less or even destroy my crops or livestock if “da government” agrees to pay me to do so.

That said, when “da government” is offering me more money and threatening me if I don’t accept, my brain would be working overtime trying to answer the question - why?

Particularly when dat government is busy selling me a load of BULLSHIT contrary to everything else I thought to be true.

The only way to beat this is for all of us to buy direct from farmers. Most farmers are up to their eyeballs in debt because of contracts from the likes of Wally World promising that if they grow 8 bajillion acres of beets, they’ll buy them at x amount. Well the farmer had to buy equipment for these huge crops and that causes them to take on loans to help harvest and prepare soil. So, they’re paid for a year of crops and then next year, Wally World says, we will give you less for your produce & the farmers are stuck because they have to pay the equipment loan....

We need to support our local farmers by buying CSA memberships or going to farmers markets. It’s the only way.

I blame no one but ME. Science tells us milk is not good for humans. That's good they dumped it all! It will also be great for this country when many are starving. It's time to wake up and actually try and understand how your body works. Many health problems will be resolved during the national fasting period. Many will learn a new respect for mother earth. We don't need probably 80% of the shit we produce to eat. We can all survive and become much stronger or die! I will help all that I can during this time. I would go without food to help anyone.
