Two weeks ago in Virginia Beach there was a children's party where someone who attended was infected with MPOX. A few days later some contact tracing calls went out informing everyone at the party of the exposure and urged anyone to get tested if they have symptoms. The dude in question who received one of these phone calls ended up coming down with flu-like symptoms, got tested at two different places and both tests came back positive. Ended up developing the full blownsies blisters and has been "isolating" at home for the past two weeks until the blisters scab over. No weird stuff going on at the party I'd assume so probably incidental contact or airborne transmission. The pox is out in the wild. - Jackal You only hear about SpecOps when they go wrong. |

With what I know about the behind the scenes of hotels, I don't think I'd go to one. But, that's just me and I love camping! After living in a hotel for a year, no thanks! Glad we've retired! |

I go to the gym 4 days a week, but have always used my own yoga mat. For anyone going to the gym, please bring your own mat if doing yoga. I doubt the sanitizer they use will kill MP and you cannot spritz the community map down and let it air dry, as using a wet mat is a good recipe for an injury. We lift weights at home, so no issue there. ETA: Yes, I know I can do yoga at home, but love the instructor and the positive energy in the room. May have to go back to the home yoga if MP takes hold. Did indoor hot yoga through most of the last 2 years of CV19, crowded rooms great instructors not one outbreak of CV19. I do now look at people for pox. Leaving soon for one of the biggest events in my industry. Still not sheltering in place and wonder what this way comes. We will see. |
