Learning to live out of my rigs.
The wife and I for several months now have been retrofitting our jeeps to be ready to live out of them.

The handwriting is on the proverbial wall as it were . I think many are destined to be homeless or in shelters or even living out of their cars .

We are trying to be proactive in getting ready for what seems like a major downturn in the global economy. Including the US .
So while we can we have been building our 2 jeeps to accommodate living out of them . We have also started a little utility trailer project that will allow for greater accommodations . From pressurized water with filtration systems to interior/exterior lighting to black out windows , security , armor to secure storage of goods .

This weekend we go live to see how we have done so far . Work the bugs out so to speak before necessity requires it. This way we can redo or add too as we need .

Do we think it's really going to get this bad ? In short , yes . I make real good money and I have spent thousands and thousands on these rigs instead of anything else .

So if there is enough interest in how next weekend goes I will check in with updates .

To note as well , we would not have put the countless hours and thousands of dollars into these rigs if we didn't absolutely believe in this.
The powers that be seem to be hell bent on taking down the economy as well as taking away the land and property of the people.
Just paying attention along with what you fine people call " uncle intell " has prompted us to these extreme measures . It's coming folks . Like it or not . It's coming

Nice , thank you .
Our rigs will/are more geared around an ability to get out away from population centers and get to remote locations . We chose these vehicles because of that ability .

At this point it's a little late to be caring about the who or why .

This is happening regardless or what we know .

The hour for the people to rise and put a stop to this has come and gone without serious bloodshed. We are getting the hell out . Self preservation.
I have fought in the courtrooms for years for what was right for we the people. The courts are over run . It's time to get gone .

Initially bought a full sized RAM . Its proved to be more work and had nothing but trouble . Between shop fixes it didnt give me time to build it.

The jeeps have proven to be a good fit . Great parts availability and many great aftermarket products out there for them .

I thought about not putting it out there that we were building jeeps . However these are utilitarian and not your ordinary pretty boy rigs . A great amount of research, testing , mock up , and blood sweat and tears have gone into these rigs .

Actually have a ground tent as well that is part of the full meal deal . Also having a wall tent built that will allow for longer living situations . I am fabricating a small portable wood stove that will have a coil for hot water as well as being able to cook on the stove top .
So the rigs will be for more mobile situations . However they are set up rather nice I must add .

Thank you for sharing this . However my rigs are set up more utilitarian.

Function , durability , sustainability , security and not necessarily in that order .

These rigs are a system rather than just a camper . In theory these rigs should be able to get you out and away and be the basis for a sustainable living arrangement that has no deadline .
The theory comes out of the memoirs of general shwartzkopff. Quite ingenious actually.

I've got a drawer system in my truck that doubles as a platform for the truck tent and air mattress.

Picked up a 5x8 cargo trailer with an RV door that can double as a stealth camper.

It's looking more and more like we are headed toward the nomad lifestyle.
