It's always intrigued me, how spin seems to defy gravity, and takes on properties of it's own.

After something like 60 miles of linear travel, one degree of shift should be measured in the gyro.

Gyro needs to be a PERFECT gyro though.

That video has nothing to do with 'Antigravity', nor is it 'Hidden Science'. It's basically about gyroscopic forces including precision.

Anyone with a working brian can clearly see the mechanics of the universe in his demonstration, I mean the kids back in the 70's did.

Thanks OP, I hadn't heard of him either. Watched the first 10mins and am enthralled and bookmarked to watch later. In the video he mentions his 'favourite author' Martin Gardner....I've never heard of him either. Just looked him up and he is a 'recreational mathematician' and has written many books on math, philosophy and other interesting topics. I've just bought one of his books on Kindle to give him a try.
I love this side of GLP where you can discover interesting but forgotten or not mainstream thinkers.

I know he was reading quotes through the lecture, is there some occult meaning behind this? I'm guessing so.

A perfect gyro in space can maintain x,y,z coords no problem, but with gravity to contend with, one has to think that perhaps an eccentric ring that maintains the axis oppositional to a directional force could be used to counteract said force.

Think about a cam.

I suppose the cam would be acting both upon the positive and negative along that axis, but maybe if you could slow the swing on the up or down, you could convert it into directional energy.

Gravity does not exist in the conventional sense 'science' has proffered, not one of them can even tell you what it is only describe it. Without comprehension of fields both dielectric and magnetic it can't be understood.

Laithwaite got in to hot water with the scientific establishment for this particular lecture:

In his 1974 lectures, Laithwaite suggested that Newton's laws of motion could not account for the behaviour of gyroscopes and that they could be used as a means of reactionless propulsion. The members of the Royal Institution rejected his ideas and his lectures were not published at the time, a first for the Royal Institution. His lectures were subsequently published independently as Engineer Through The Looking-Glass and also on the Royal Institution website.

Despite this rejection and the fact that Laithwaite later acknowledged that gyroscopes behave fully in accord with Newtonian mechanics, he continued to explore gyroscopic behaviour, maintaining the belief that some form of reactionless propulsion could be derived from them. Laithwaite set up Gyron Ltd with William Dawson and, in 1993, applied for a patent entitled "Propulsion System". A United States Patent, Number 5860317, was granted in 1999. To this very day, research is conducted to account for the physics behind gyroscopic effects, directly pointing to Laithwaite's work as motivation.
