However it could also be argued that they began after Jesus Christ was crucified. 2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

But be warned, nothing is guaranteed. Your life could be snuffed out in an instant from a nuclear bomb, or some other means before you even get the chance to become a Tribulation Saint
Remember that the Rapture can happen at any moment, in the twinkling of an eye. You have still been blessed with a little time, so if you have not made your self right with the Lord, turn to Him now with all your heart and He will be quick to hear you. But don't take all day about it, you could be hit by a bus tomorrow and then where would you be?
