I think it was a copperhead
My swelling is gone,my knee still hurts a little and kinda nauseated still but I'm ok.

At this point I have been bitten by everything lol

Usually copperheads aren't too bad.

It's funny with venomous snakes. They stay somewhat isolated from other dens and their bloodlines don't mix a lot. Some will be significantly more toxic than others.

And then there's the matter of how much they inject. And then there's the issue of how close to a major artery the injection site is.

And I don't blame that snake

Do YOU swell up when you step on a piece of glass or a large wood splinter? No.

If you swell up after getting bit by anything, you better run to the hospital.

it's really easy to tell venomous from non venomous bites just by looking at it, a venomous snake will leave those 2 fang marks and a non venomous snake will not, go google a picture of it...if it's venomous go to the ER if not you'll be fine (ish)
