That's the insane reality folks.

Some non-famous actor was paid 23k just to pretend to take a nap on a hammock in a 5 second ad on YouTube.

A 5 second ad that took all day to shoot starting at 5 am. Then another two hours in a makeup chair to sit another 4 hours till lunch. Finally around 2 pm the shoot will commence, usually until 11 pm.

If you've never been on a movie set or done a commercial, you have no idea what they make you endure.

You need to be quiet. Any pay you get for doing any ad is deserved.

... and then you wait.... wait for the next job opportunity.

So if you take that $ figure and divide it by 2, 3, 4 or more weeks till you land the next gig.....

You made about $4/hr

The amount of money and Natural resources WASTED on the entertainment and fashion industries is unfathomable. People have just no idea of the waste. Add graphics and marketing for retailers to.

It's sickening.

But ya, be sure to turn out your lights when you leave the room and set your thermostat to 78 degrees.

I napped in a hammock 2 years ago and the rope on the head-end broke. I only fell about 18 inches to the ground but landed right on the upper spine between the shoulder blades.

It messed up my back, shoulders and neck really bad. Suffering still 2 years later and it's getting worse.
