The N-95 masks strong rubber bands hold the mask uncomfortably against the face and will create a tight seal forcing all of an inhaled breath to enter through the mask. The mask is constructed of 3 layers, the outer and inner give it the rigidity and strength to withstand the pulling of the rubber bands plus keeps the mask off the surface of your face.

The masks center woven core is actually statically charged and the work horse of the mask, like an electrostatic air filter for central HVAC systems used by people with allergies, this static electrically charged core actually attracts the virus and grabs it, trapping it in the woven layer—95% of the time.

The mask unfortunately loses its static charge because of moisture created by the wearers exhaled breath so over a unknown, presumably short period of time it begins to lose it effectiveness.

FWIW, I worked in hazardous waste and asbestos remediation for nearly six years putting myself through university. In all our classes, responding to incidents, and bulking/prepping waste for disposal, we NEVER wore N95 masks.

In fact, OSHA does NOT permit N95 masks for asbestos remediation.

Did I mention that asbestos particles/filaments are LARGER than aerosolized COVID?

This does not mean that they do not work. It just means there is a lack of study to confirm that they work.

The purpose of a surgical style mask is to trap moisture from the wearer. This is why surgeons and OR staff wear masks in the operating room. Does it stop all moisture? of course not, but the big droplets, yes. If the surgeon coughs, spits, blah blah it will be deposited in the inner layer of the mask.

Masks are just a barrier for stuff coming from the wearer, and the stuff the wearer breathes. Nothing more, nothing less. Surgical masks can stop pollen, ask me how I know (bad allergies). So a large droplet I have no doubt would remain on the outer layer which is hydrophobic.

I'll tell you one thing that masks do for sure and that is make the wearer miserable and dehumanize them. It's been a punishment for those who refused the clot shot to have to wear one in California at work while those who complied got the choice. It's ridiculous to think a cloth mask could stop the spread of a cold to start with. I still see people wearing cloth masks even though the media finally came out and admitted they don't work at all, guess they didn't get the memo. It even said on the boxes of surgical masks that they don't stop the spread of corona viruses.

So riddle me this, in Austria we have had mandatory N95 vs other countries who use the surgical masks. With NO difference in positive test cases in the contrary even more positive COVID cases.

And yes I am totally leaving out that we are also doing more testing than most other countries, it’s not like Covid believers care about these connections anyway.
