He’s got a private villa built into the red rock cliffs just behind Enchantment Resort in Sedona, Arizona.

There’s an elevator carved into the rock base but the thing is, it goes up and down…hmmm.

I only know because I worked at the resort when both he and Robert De Niro checked in at the same time.

Robert showed up first in a Lincoln Town Car with a young Spanish woman. I took him and his lady friend up to a private villa above the terrace.

A few moments later the front desk beeped me with a code, I forget what it was but it was three numbers they used to let us bellmen know when Bono had entered the property.

I had to hop in a golf cart and drive up towards the rear of the resort and onto a narrow paved path which eventually led to a small clearing with a driveway opposite and the elevator to my left.

It was pretty wild to see for the first time, it’s like something out of a science fiction movie.

Anyway, we had to use our keycard to unlock the elevator which also lowered the two bollards blocking the entrance from the road.

We were not allowed to hang around so I never actually got to see him…
