They severely overstepped their constitutional boundaries with Roe vs. Wade in 1973 and it's gone unchallenged to this day. If you want it to be the law of the land, create a bill, and run it thru congress...that's how legislation works. For the record, Norma McCorvey (aka Jane Roe) kept her baby... realized she had been used and fought hard for pro-life causes including attempts to have Roe V Wade overturned. I know a thing or two, because I've seen a thing or two. |

User ID: 82910714 Canada 05/08/2022 03:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The job of the supreme court is to determine if a law (or lesser court ruling) that already exists, is constitutionally compliant ... nothing more, nothing less Quoting: Shadow Dance SCOTUS' new ruling, determined that Roe VS Wade was not within their jurisdiction to rule upon... it was an issue that States were to determine on their own ... abortion has always been legal - under certain conditions, determined by State legislatures ... NOTHING HAS CHANGED women can still get an abortion in EVERY STATE in the US as long as they meet the criteria determined by the people's representatives in that state - you can still get an abortion in Mississippi (or any other state), as long as you comply with their laws ... there always has been, and always will be States where you can get an abortion - some even after the baby is born ---- the SCOTUS' new ruling doesn't abolish abortions - there were abortion clinics LONG BEFORE Roe VS Wade all these protests do, is reveal how IGNORANT women are ... apparently some women don't know how to avoid pregnancy, or how to deal with an unwanted pregnancy - appropriately, and they want us tax payers to pay for their willful IGNORANCE - because there are numerous ways to prevent getting pregnant... and they are not difficult to find I am not responsible for the choices you make - or your unbridled emotions cause by your IGNORANCE ... and now I won't have to pay for it - with Federal Tax money Nice that someone around here understands things. |
