Remember when used books cost $0.25 to $1.75 at a church sale or used book store? $5 was ridiculous 4 used books, maybe a coffee table hardcover!

Now good luck finding anything, written on, dog eared, pages soiled, stained, cover torn etc. for less than $9.

Ama*zon ruined used books. e*Bay followed suit. Even thrift stores (pre-pandemic, at least) were/are scoured for online scalpers to resell.

I saw a sweater on E*tsy a couple years back that had a hole and was stained in the front. Seller wanted $25 for it. I scoffed and was sure it'd never sell. It sold within 2 weeks of my finding.

WHO are these idiot millennials that pay overpriced prices for used garbage, torn/stained clothes and soiled books? (Zillennials?)

We will all be better off when the banks sober up and cancel 100 million (or more) Americans credit cards and lower the limits on the rest plus jack up interest rates and fees! Sooner they do that, the prices will drop on garbage goods and the less competition to buy decent, non-garbage items.
