How does the bible put it? Something like "If satan be divided against satan, how shall his kingdom stand?"

No one is easier to deceive than someone who is deceptive by nature.

They may seem unified but a house divided is a heart without true empathy.

So much ham fisted control, so much effort into propaganda, so much boasting and yes, arrogance. Decades of it.

But a few decades is such a short amount of time.
